Behind the Denim Campaign

Concrete, hard midday sun, and no retouching. Notes from a two-hour shoot in Lekki.

Behind the Denim Campaign

We shot the Denim Collection between 12 and 2pm, which every photographer will tell you is the wrong time of day. That was the point.

Hard light shows seams. It shows raw edges and panel lines and the places where a corset has been shaped by hand. Soft light would have flattered the fabric and hidden the work.

The location was a plain concrete wall on a side street in Lekki. No set, no props. One model, four looks, two hours.

It remains the campaign clients quote back to us most often.

The T.I.O Circle

An invitation, not a subscription.

Collection previews before they are announced, private appointment windows, and the occasional letter from the atelier. Nothing else.
